Keep the Job, loose the Guy

Keep your job, not your boyfriend. Why? Let’s see how a job will treat you VS a boyfriend…

-If you invest in your career, the more senior you are , the more you get out of it! – the longer you are in a relationship, the less you get out of him!

- a Career will take you out on business meals of $70-$100,  a boyfriend may spend $50-$70, and that too on special occasions.

- You can find a job that will take you traveling as often as you’d like, and to many different destinations.  The avarage man will take you somewhere once a year, at most!

-A good career, pays all your bills, pays you to go out with your friends even when your off work. Pays for all your needs and wants, and sometimes even allows you to save a side. Where the hell are you gonna find a guy like that?!?!?

- A career will pay your health insurance , your doctors and medications. -A guy will consider you lucky if he makes you a cup of tea.

- With a career, over time you gain experience and qualifications, which makes you more qualified and more likely to obtain a position of power. With a guy, over time, you loose qualifications and are more likely to loose influence all together, sometimes, even get replaced by a younger, less experienced person.

-At work you get maternity leave, that means getting paid for being at home with the baby. A guy is the one who gets you pregnant and puts you through all that in the first place!

-If you are looking for a promotion, your position will not get jealous, on the contrary, it will try to support you. If you get more attractive offers from other competitors in the market, your employer will most likely try to match or top their offers. A guy will just get jealous and make you feel guilty for even considering to look around.

sooooo- why should I not pick a career over a guy?

you know- just a thought ;)

Dear Koren

And the world keeps turning  round and round… and we think we are evolving, but basically we are reaching the same points in life , only with a slightly different understanding…. you know, like a spring of metal, just like that- when you get to the same point you were before, and the realization dawns on you..” hey,why does this feel like a dejavu?”, then slowly you comprehend, that nothing really changes, save your own self.

And so have I too, reached that point. Another diary is starting, another book of life memories, but this time it’s electronic, this time, It’s going to be shared with others, and not only a bunch of selected few. And yet it’s all the same, my old friend Koren (that was the name of my diary through the years, a name of a friend’s friend.. long story, little significance).. welcome to your new body, with keys and screen instead of your leather bound strapps. And welcome my dear readers.. hope you’ll be entertained.. isn’t it always so appealing to take a look into another person’s soul? =}

wishing us a happy juorney
